NESTOR TECHNOLOGIES and the Faculty of Sciences of Poitiers
For 7 years now, NESTOR TECHNOLOGIES has been forging close links with the Poitiers Faculty of Science, and more particularly with the SP2MI and the Mechanics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Automation departments.
To date, 2 members of the IT development team are former students of the Faculty of Fundamental and Applied Sciences, Engineering Sciences Department.
Then, NESTOR TECHONOLOGIES is once again taking part in the student-business forum (FREE2023). This will be held on November 30, 2023 at the campus of Futuroscope in Chasseneuil du Poitou.
According to Philippe Delbos, President of NESTOR TECHNOLOGIES, “We’re taking on a new engineering student trainee again this year. So far, the experience has been beneficial for us.“.
In fact, the students’ vision and up-to-date knowledge help accelerate and/or optimize certain IT development processes. It bring also new data to the company’s employees. Indeed, in our field, it’s important to keep up with the constant upheavals. This applies in learning, innovation, development techniques and so on. This is our core business.
“We’ve been able to boost the integration of Artificial Intelligence into all our solutions for the past 2 years, by supporting our student intern. The experience has been very positive.” Those are the words of Alexandre Bony, former student at the Faculté des Sciences de Poitiers and mentor to our latest intern. “So positive that we hired him at the end of his work placement!“
